1			Danni Sullivan Grand Prix of Monterrey On 9 September 1984 Danny Sullivan won the race at Sanair. The Monterrey round is dedicated to one of the best CART drivers, the 1988 champion Danny Sullivan.	cancelled
2			A J Foyt Grand Prix of Atlanta On 6 September, 42 years ago (1961), on the way to his second consecutive national title, the reigning Indy 500 winner Anthony Joseph Foyt won the Hoosier Hundred for the second time in a row in a Meskowski/Offy. The Atlanta round is dedicated to the winner of Le Mans (1967) and four-time (1961, 1964, 1967, 1977) Indy 500 winner A. J. Foyt.	16.09 – 22.09
3			Al Unser Jr. Grand Prix of Long Beach Al Unser Jr. took six (!) wins at Long Beach! He can safely be called the “king of Long Beach”; only Michael Andretti has done better, winning seven (!) times in Toronto. The Long Beach round is dedicated to the two-time (1990, 1994) CART champion Al Unser Jr.	23.09 – 29.09
4			Rick Mears Grand Prix of Milwaukee On 30 September 1979, on the way to the first of his three CART titles, Rick Mears won the 152.2-mile race in Atlanta, Georgia, in a Penske/Cosworth. A magnificent driver who made his own contribution to the development of world motorsport. The Milwaukee round is dedicated to the three-time (1979, 1981, 1982) CART champion Rick Mears.	30.09 – 06.10
5			Emerson Fittipaldi Grand Prix of Laguna Seca On 7 October 1990 Emerson Fittipaldi won the round at Nazareth. It was his second consecutive win at Nazareth after his championship year of 1989. The round is dedicated to the two-time Formula 1 champion and CART champion Emerson Fittipaldi.	07.10 – 13.10
6			Gordon Johncock Grand Prix of Michigan The first CART race in Brooklyn (not counting USAC and AAA) took place in 1979. Back then two CART races were held on the same day, 15 July, at Michigan International Speedway. The winner of the first Michigan race was Gordon Johncock; that year he finished the championship in 3rd place — his best result in CART. Despite his age Johncock kept performing well: he had an impressive 1982 season, winning his second Indy 500, the Michigan 500 and the Milwaukee 150. At over 45 years old Johncock showed absolutely no signs of ageing; he had 262 Champ Car starts (counting USAC) and 3,417 laps led to his name. The Michigan round is dedicated to the first winner at the Michigan speedway, the Indy 500 winner (1973 and 1982) Gordon Johncock.	14.10 – 20.10
7			Mario Andretti Grand Prix of Road America It is only thanks to the efforts of the world motorsport legend Mario Andretti that the CART series did not lose Road America. For that, the Elkhart Lake round is named in his honour — just like the IIL round. The Grand Prix is dedicated to the idol of many generations, the 1984 CART champion, 1967 Formula 1 champion and multiple Road America winner (1983, 1984, 1987) Mario Andretti.	28.10 – 03.11
8			Johnny Rutherford Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio In 1980 Johnny Rutherford won at Mid-Ohio for the first time on the way to his CART championship title. The Grand Prix is dedicated to the 1980 CART champion and three-time Indy 500 winner (1974, 1976, 1980) Johnny Rutherford.	04.11 – 10.11
9			Gil De Ferran Grand Prix of Texas On 11 November 1967 one of the best CART drivers, Gil de Ferran, was born. The Texas round is dedicated to the two-time CART champion (2000, 2001) and Indy 500 winner (2003) Gil de Ferran.	11.11 – 17.11
10			Bobby Rahal Grand Prix of New Hampshire The first CART race in New Hampshire was won by the famous Bobby Rahal in 1992. The round is dedicated to the legend of American racing, three-time CART champion (1986, 1987, 1992) and Indy 500 winner (1986) Bobby Rahal.	18.11 – 24.11
11			Nigel Mansell Grand Prix of Australia Nigel Mansell took his first CART win precisely at the Queensland circuit. The Australian round is dedicated to the legend of world motorsport, Formula 1 champion (1992) and CART champion (1993) Nigel Mansell.	25.11 – 01.12
12			Greg Moore Grand Prix of Fontana In 1999, at the final CART race of the season in Fontana, one of the most talented drivers of the series, Greg Moore, lost his life. The Fontana round is dedicated to the memory of Greg Moore.	02.12 – 08.12
13			Danni Sullivan Grand Prix of Monterrey On 9 September 1984 Danny Sullivan won the race at Sanair. The Monterrey round is dedicated to one of the best CART drivers, the 1988 champion Danny Sullivan.	09.12 – 15.12
