Game Guide
Indycar Racing II (Papyrus, 1995) is the simulator our league raced on. It's a DOS-era game, but you can still play it today — and it looks and runs better now than it ever did back then.
Heads up: the two methods below are the modern way to play ICR2. Neither existed while the league was running in 2003–2007 — back then we launched the DOS game directly or through early DOSBox builds. If you want the authentic period setup, the original league guides further down still work.
Play ICR2 on a modern PC
Pick one of these two routes. Both run natively on Windows 10/11 with no old hardware required.
Rendition version
The best-looking build of ICR2 — originally needed a Rendition Vérité 3D card, now runs through a wrapper. Smooth, sharp, hardware-accelerated graphics.
